Responsibilities
- Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery
- Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
- Maintain confidential records, complete documentation, and administer medications as needed
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crises
- Transport residents and collect specimens for testing
- Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals
- Attend trainings and staff meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license preferred; must meet driving requirements
- Willingness to complete DHS training post-hire
