Responsibilities
- Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery in a structured environment.
- Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meal preparation, and life skills development.
- Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation accurately.
- Administer medications and respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
- Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
- Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
- Participate in trainings and staff meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license preferred and must meet driving requirements.
- Willingness to complete required DHS training after hire.
