Residential Care Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery in a structured environment.
• Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meal preparation, and life skills development.
• Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation accurately.
• Administer medications and respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
• Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license preferred and must meet driving requirements.
• Willingness to complete required DHS training after hire.
