Residential Care Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

  • Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery
  • Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
  • Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation accurately
  • Administer medications and respond appropriately to emergencies and crises
  • Transport residents to appointments and community activities
  • Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests as needed
  • Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals
  • Participate in trainings and staff meetings

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license preferred and must meet driving requirements
  • Completion of DHS training may be required after hire
