Residential Care Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support to residents in a residential addiction treatment program, fostering recovery and sobriety.
• Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development.
• Complete documentation and maintain confidential records.
• Administer medications per program policies.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and crises.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests.
• Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Completion of DHS training may be required after hire.
