About the role
MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents' day-to-day needs as they build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections that promote recovery and reduce stigma.
Responsibilities
- Support residents in their daily activities
- Navigate mental health challenges as part of treatment plans
- Facilitate community connections to promote recovery
- Ensure residents adhere to treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide and Personal Support Specialist
- Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1)
- Valid Driver’s License preferred
- Experience working in a residential setting preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
