About the role

MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents' day-to-day needs as they build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections that promote recovery and reduce stigma.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents in their daily activities
  • Navigate mental health challenges as part of treatment plans
  • Facilitate community connections to promote recovery
  • Ensure residents adhere to treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide and Personal Support Specialist
  • Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1)
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred
  • Experience working in a residential setting preferred

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
