About the role
MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents' day-to-day needs as they navigate mental health challenges, build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and supervision to residents as outlined on individual treatment plans.
- Teach and reinforce skills necessary for recovery and community integration.
- Support residents in adhering to treatment plans and maintaining safety.
- Assist with daily living activities as needed.
- Ensure residents are comfortable and safe in their living environment.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide and Personal Support Specialist.
- Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1).
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of mental health rehabilitation techniques.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
