About the role

MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents' day-to-day needs as they navigate mental health challenges, build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and supervision to residents as outlined on individual treatment plans.
  • Teach and reinforce skills necessary for recovery and community integration.
  • Support residents in adhering to treatment plans and maintaining safety.
  • Assist with daily living activities as needed.
  • Ensure residents are comfortable and safe in their living environment.

Requirements

  • Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide and Personal Support Specialist.
  • Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1).
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of mental health rehabilitation techniques.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts are available.
