Residential Care Worker I
About the role
MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents' day-to-day activities as they build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections that promote recovery and reduce stigma.
Responsibilities
- Support residents in their daily activities
- Navigate mental health challenges as part of treatment plans
- Facilitate community connections to promote recovery
- Ensure residents adhere to treatment plans
- Provide medication management under supervision
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide within 1 year of hire
- Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) within one year of employment
- Valid Driver’s License preferred
- Experience working in a residential setting preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Pay
Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts are available.
