About the role

MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents' day-to-day needs as they navigate mental health challenges, build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents in their daily activities
  • Implement and assist with treatment plans
  • Facilitate community connections to promote recovery and reduce stigma

Requirements

  • Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide within 1 year of hire
  • Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) within one year of employment
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred
  • Experience working in a residential setting preferred

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of mental health rehabilitation techniques

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts are available.
