About the role
MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults navigating mental health challenges across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents’ day-to-day as they build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections that promote recovery and reduce stigma.
Schedule
Wednesday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Compensation and incentives
- Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts
- Eligible candidates may receive a sign‑on bonus of up to $5,000, paid in accordance with program guidelines
- Pay range: $19.87 to $23.75 per hour (part-time positions are prorated based on scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent)
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
- License/Certifications:
- Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide must be obtained within 1 year of hire
- Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) must be obtained within one year of employment
- Valid Driver’s License preferred
- Experience: Experience working in a residential setting preferred
