Residential Care Worker - Full-Time

About the role

Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift) in a trauma-informed recovery center providing transitional treatment for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' recovery by offering daily encouragement and monitoring well-being
• Document observations and administer medications
• Assist residents with daily tasks while maintaining confidentiality
• Respond to emergencies and facilitate progress toward treatment goals
• Transport residents and collect specimens as needed
• Support educational activities and attend required staff meetings and trainings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services or behavioral health preferred
• Coursework in social work or related fields is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record required
• DHS 83 training preferred (can be completed post-hire)

Local travel may be necessary (up to 50%).

Pay

$17.75/hour
