About the role
We are seeking compassionate Adult Residential Support Professionals to join a trauma-informed recovery program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders. The role involves providing daily support, encouragement, and structure in a safe and respectful environment, helping residents build healthy, sober lives.
Responsibilities
- Supporting residents’ recovery journeys through encouragement and monitoring
- Documenting resident well-being and administering medications per policies
- Assisting with meal prep, housekeeping, laundry, and daily tasks
- Responding to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately
- Supporting residents in achieving treatment goals and facilitating educational or life skills activities
- Transporting residents to appointments and community activities
- Collecting urine specimens and administering breathalyzer tests as required
- Attending staff meetings and trainings
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is a plus
Skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record
- Training in DHS 83 (Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication Administration) preferred but can be completed post-hire
Pay
$17.75/hour
Schedule
Position requires providing support during the 2nd shift, including every other weekend. The role involves local travel (up to 50%).
