About the role

We are seeking compassionate Adult Residential Support Professionals to join a trauma-informed recovery program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders. The role involves providing daily support, encouragement, and structure in a safe and respectful environment, helping residents build healthy, sober lives.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting residents’ recovery journeys through encouragement and monitoring
  • Documenting resident well-being and administering medications per policies
  • Assisting with meal prep, housekeeping, laundry, and daily tasks
  • Responding to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately
  • Supporting residents in achieving treatment goals and facilitating educational or life skills activities
  • Transporting residents to appointments and community activities
  • Collecting urine specimens and administering breathalyzer tests as required
  • Attending staff meetings and trainings
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
  • Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is a plus

Skills

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record
  • Training in DHS 83 (Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication Administration) preferred but can be completed post-hire

Pay

$17.75/hour

Schedule

Position requires providing support during the 2nd shift, including every other weekend. The role involves local travel (up to 50%).
