About the role
Support residents in their recovery journey by providing daily care, encouragement, and structure in a trauma-informed, safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor residents’ well-being and document observations
- Administer medications and assist with daily living activities
- Maintain confidentiality and respond to emergencies
- Support residents in achieving their treatment goals
- Transport residents as needed and collect specimens
- Facilitate educational activities and attend required staff trainings
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in human services or behavioral health preferred
- Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is advantageous
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
- DHS 83 training preferred (can be completed after hire)
Schedule
Second shift, 3:45 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., includes every other weekend. Local travel within the community may be necessary.
Pay
$17.75 per hour
