About the role
This entry-level residential re-entry position in social services monitors the custody, security, control, and maintenance of the facility and residents. Due to contractual obligations, applicants must identify as a female for this position.

$22.84 per hour

Schedule
This is a relief position requiring 16+ hours per week, based on the needs of the center. Shifts include:
- 2nd Shift (Friday & Saturday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM)
- Weekends
- Holidays falling on weekends
- Variable hours as needed
In the event of a work stoppage, you may be required to work additional hours to staff the center and accept reassigned shifts without advanced notice.
Responsibilities
- Monitors Residents – Observes, documents, and ensures the accountability of all residents while within the facility and in the community by enforcing all rules, responsibilities, and restrictions. Provides control and documentation of transactions regarding money, subsistence, medications, first-aid supplies, mail, visitors, accountability checks, and telephone calls.
- Assists with managing program services – Supports Counselors with resident programming, which may include:
- Installing electronic monitoring equipment
- Visiting residents in their homes and places of employment
- Providing alcohol and urine surveillance testing
- Monitors Facility – Conducts and documents scheduled internal and external inspections of the premises to maintain residents' health, safety, and accountability. Ensures physical plant safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Maintains Working Knowledge and follows all Procedures and Policies – Adheres to guidelines outlined in the Statement of Work, Physical Plant, and Operations Manuals. Demonstrates proficiency in emergency drills, life safety, facility sanitation, escapes, and unusual occurrence procedures.
- Work Schedule – Attends and participates in all required appointments and meetings, some of which may be scheduled off-site.
- Sanitation – Responsible for general housekeeping of the center, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and emptying trash.
- Other – Additional duties may be assigned by the Director.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals and groups in both routine and emergency situations
- One year of paid work experience
