Resident Monitor (Relief)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Makes sure all residents are accounted for while inside and outside the facility, following all assigned rules, responsibilities, and restrictions.
• Monitors and documents all transactions involving money, food, medication, personal items, visitors, and communications for residents.
• Supports counselors in implementing electronic monitoring equipment, conducting home visits, and administering alcohol and urine tests.
• Conducts and records regular inspections of the facility to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintains awareness of emergency procedures and follows all outlined policies and procedures.
• Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, including cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and disposing of trash.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.

Shift Schedule

This is a Relief Position. Hours vary from 16 to 30 hours per week, filling shifts as needed for facility coverage. Shifts are defined as:

• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM

Qualifications

Possess a High School diploma or equivalent and one year of paid work experience. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals and groups in both routine and emergency situations is required.
