Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Makes sure all residents are accounted for while inside and outside the facility.
- Enforces all rules, responsibilities, and restrictions assigned to residents.
- Documents all transactions involving money, subsistence, medications, first-aid supplies, mail, visitors, accountability checks, and telephone calls.
- Aids counselors in resident programming, such as setting up electronic monitoring equipment, visiting residents, and conducting alcohol and urine tests.
- Conducts and documents regular inspections of the facility to ensure residents' health, safety, and accountability.
- Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility according to established procedures.
- Keeps up-to-date on emergency drills, life safety protocols, and facility sanitation guidelines.
- Assists with maintaining the physical plant and ensuring it meets safety standards.
- Accepts and performs additional duties as assigned by the Director.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of paid work experience.
- Ability to work with individuals and groups in both routine and emergency situations.
- Knowledge of and adherence to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Male applicants only due to contractual obligations.
- Shift schedule: 25 hours per week, variable shifts available (1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM).
- Work schedule: Available to work during times of need to staff the center.
- Attend and participate in required appointments and meetings.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.

- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
- Physical stamina for cleaning and inspection tasks.
