About the role
The Resident Life Director is a strategic leader who champions the quality of life for residents at Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living. This role oversees several departments focused on residents' experiences and well-being, supporting their social, psychological, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide programmatic oversight to the following departments and programs within Resident Life: Community Resources, Philanthropy, Fitness, Intermissions, Community TV, Resident Services, Pastoral Care, and Home Support.
- Serve as primary liaison with resident committees and groups, to support a vibrant resident culture and diversity of experiences.
- Support the role of Resident Life in the successful integration of person-centered, strengths-based programs and services for all residents.
- Develop and maintain a consistent and qualitative needs assessment of the population and provide high-quality responses to those needs.
- Manage the overall operations of the Resident Life department while meeting or exceeding federal, state, and local regulations and appropriate quality and service standards.
- Oversee the development of resident relations program to meet residents’ needs and ensure resident quality and service.
- Supervise and support a professional staff of the highest quality in each division of Resident Life.
Requirements
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years management experience with progressively more responsible positions
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check

- Knowledge of senior living and healthcare industry best practices

Pay
Commensurate with experience starting at $110,000 annually.
Schedule
Nightly shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.
