Resettlement Navigator - Preferred Communities
About the role
Resettlement Navigators serve as a central point of support for refugee and immigrant families by helping connect them to housing, healthcare, employment, education, benefits, and community resources.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support resettlement services and referrals
- Aid families with housing, transportation, appointments, and community integration
- Support specialized service areas such as employment, mental health, elder care, school support, or benefits navigation
- Collaborate with community agencies, partners, and internal teams
- Help clients work toward self-sufficiency and long-term stability
- Maintain documentation, case notes, and service records
Requirements
Bilingual candidates and individuals with lived experience similar to the populations we serve are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those who speak Dari, Pashto, Nepali, Hindi, Rohingya, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, or Arabic.
This position is based in Worcester, MA and requires local travel within the community.
