Rental Branch Manager - Pumps

This position is available at Yancey Bros. Co., an authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer serving Georgia since 1914. The Rental Pump Manager oversees the pump rental division, ensuring efficient, profitable operations with a strong focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-level customer service and meet or exceed branch goals.
• Drive market penetration for pump rentals and increase branch revenue.
• Conduct performance reviews, lead safety meetings, and handle customer service issues.
• Review rental contracts, assess fleet needs, and assist with debt collection.
• Interview, hire, train, and manage staff.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in operations management, business planning, or managing a rental equipment division, preferably with pumps or fluid handling solutions.
• A detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics, including fleet utilization, rental revenue, and maintenance costs.
• Strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven success in team leadership and staff development.
• Strong understanding of the pump rental industry, including fleet management and customer service.
• Detailed knowledge of financial and operational metrics such as utilization, revenue, and maintenance costs.
• Experience managing analytically rigorous initiatives and driving process improvements.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal teams and customer interactions.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in operations management, business planning, or managing a rental equipment division, preferably pumps or fluid handling solutions.
