Remote Technical Customer Service Specialist

About the Role

You will be supporting our client’s customers as the first point of contact. You will answer questions concerning their accounts, help customers with their account issues, and provide exceptional customer service.

• Identify customer needs, answer questions, or resolve problems related to SSL, servers, and/or relational databases.
• Perform routine call center activities concerning business products and services.
• Use the tools provided to guide you through customer conversations.
• Provide customers with important information while communicating in a warm, empathetic manner.
• Gather information to keep customer profiles and accounts up to date.
• Use your computer knowledge to give exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
• At least 6 months of customer service work experience.
• Typing speed of 30 WPM or higher.
• Knowledge of desktop and portable devices.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SSL, and/or servers.
• Wired internet service (no Wi-Fi or satellite); internet speed test must confirm download speed of 10 Mbps or higher, upload speed of 3 Mbps or higher, and ping results lower than 175 ms.
• Secured workspace with a door that separates you from the rest of your home.

Schedule

Monday through Friday – 11 am – 8 pm EST. Weekends and holidays normally off.

Pay

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $17.31 per hour.
