Customer Service Specialist (Remote)

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. The role involves resolving customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, staying up-to-date with product features, and maintaining high visual and quality standards in the store. Specialists are also responsible for meeting the store’s sales goals.

Job duties include customer interactions (which may involve minors), handling cash and payments, operating electronic equipment, managing personal information, and safeguarding store merchandise and other valuables. Due to the nature of the role, a criminal history review is required to protect the business, its operations, customers, staff, and the public.

Primary work location: Store #2248, 473 IL 59 South, Aurora, IL 60504. This role also requires spending 20% of time covering hours at Naperville North Store 3435.

Responsibilities

• Engage with wholesale and retail customers to assess their needs and provide product recommendations.
• Answer customer questions about Sherwin-Williams products and solutions.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and store standards.
• Achieve excellent customer service while meeting the store’s sales goals.
• Handle cash, payments, and sensitive customer information securely.
• Maintain the visual and quality standards of products and the store environment.

Pay

Starting pay: $19.75 per hour.
