Role Overview

Responsible for developing sales strategies to retain existing customers and acquire new ones, ensuring alignment with company capabilities. The role involves analyzing market intelligence, forecasting sales, preparing proposals, and responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. Participation in trade shows and monitoring sales performance are key to driving customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.

Key Duties

  • Analyze market data to refine sales tactics and identify opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies based on specialization
  • F forecast sales and monitor performance metrics to inform decisions
  • Qualify leads, record activities in CRM, and expand customer base
  • Engage with customers pre-bid to ensure specifications can be met and influence bid criteria
  • Manage customer relationships for pricing and bid updates
  • Assist in contract proposal writing, RFP/RFQ/RFI responses, and program development
  • Support onboarding of new accounts and transition to service delivery
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and develop case studies
  • Prepare sales reports and participate in trade shows to promote offerings

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies based on market trends
  • Proficient in market analysis and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; CRM proficiency preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field preferred, or 8+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in water, wastewater, or industrial treatment required
  • Established contacts in the specialization field are advantageous
