Relationship Account Executive
About the Team
Our Financial Services team serves as the trusted partner for TransUnion's small and mid-sized financial institution clients, combining consultative selling, customer relationship management, and solution expertise to drive client success. Team members manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, uncover growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling, and collaborate across the organization to deliver innovative data and risk solutions that help customers make informed business decisions. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager of the Sales Management division.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales and relationship management to an existing customer portfolio of approximately 300 small to mid-sized accounts for a specific assigned territory of $2M to $3M in annual revenue.
- As the primary point of contact, assist in responding to and resolving customer inquiries including but not limited to pricing, reporting, products, billing/collections, system/technical, compliance, and legal.
- Pre-sales call preparation including customer research using customer website, Callahan, NCUA, FDIC, and internal resources.
- Responsible for post-sales and customer service call documentation including logging notes/calls in Salesforce, setting follow-up tasks, and logging cases for non-sales inquiries.
- Demonstrate consultative skills when calling on customers, effectively utilizing influence and persuasion to cultivate customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of related inside sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
Skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce.
- Customer research using customer websites, Callahan, NCUA, FDIC, and internal resources.
- Demonstrated aptitude in sales or marketing techniques with proven ability to cultivate customer relationships (preferred).

Pay
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $37,400.00 - $58,000.00 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% – 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. Actual compensation is based on careful consideration of factors such as education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, industry knowledge, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
