About the role
The Project Coordinator is responsible for fostering communication between the Company and sub-contractors while managing project costs for Farwest Steel’s rebar contracts through accurate scheduling, timely contract modifications, and distributing submittals, and subcontracts.
Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of information and provide change management on multiple projects.
- Cook up the flow of information on active projects.
- Set up initial project files.
- Prepare change orders to the scope of work.
- Log submittals to and from the customer.
- Process submittal reviews; may include periodic drawing checks.
- Review incoming documents from the customer and evaluate for cost impact to contract and/or scope of work.
- Process orders for production team.
- Provide initial point of contact for customers.
- Aid support personnel with periodic project billings.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in Project Scheduling and Reinforcing Steel Industry practices.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A college degree or advanced courses in construction preferred.
- Computer skills and ability to learn job specific software programs.
- Accounting basics and principles are required.
- Must be organized and attentive to goals and deadlines.
- Ability to work successfully in high-pressure situations.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Reliable and be ready to work on time daily.
Qualifications

Schedule
Shift: Typically, Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
