About the role

We are a global engagement marketing agency that creates human-centric touchpoints to unleash the power of people and deliver innovation and growth. As a member of the Registration Operations Team within the Convention Division, the Registration Account Executive is responsible for the direction and implementation of conference registration and serves as the main contact between the client and MCI internal support departments. This role establishes, implements, and monitors timelines, communicates client requirements, and provides operations support to the Sales Team and support departments. The Registration Account Executive provides leadership and drives priorities for the registration process from advance to post-event.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the client to establish business processes for events and communicates those to the internal support departments.
  • Ensures accurate setup for registration delivery.
  • Performs QC of all client deliverables and client websites, including intended business functionality and data.
  • Prepares and trains the call center management and agents on event functionality and intended delivery prior to the event launch.
  • Prepares weekly checkpoints containing progress numbers and suggested actions for clients.
  • Creates a Post Show Report after event completion, including a full overview of the event with a completed SWOT analysis and recommendations.
  • Creates and monitors registration pace reporting with year-over-year information to identify trends and react accordingly.
  • Prepares a full project plan containing information for all aspects of the event and delivery, including client onboarding, website builds, data and application integrations, marketing plans, onsite planning, and requirements.
  • Establishes event goals based on client needs and monitors progress to meet or exceed them.
  • Coordinates event priorities for internal support teams.
  • Leads the event onboarding meeting, weekly client meetings, pre-onsite meetings, and post-event meetings.
  • Exercises independent decision authority for problem resolution.
  • Manages relationships with clients, IT, Call Center, Marketing, Accounting, Team Members, Executive Team, and Sales.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of Cvent registration experience.
  • Available for moderate travel (25%-30%).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended hours without breaks.

Skills

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the registration/convention industry preferred.
  • Multi-task oriented.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail.

Pay

$60,000–65,000 annually, based on relevant experience and skills.
