Registered Respiratory Therapist - PRN Nights

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate PRN Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care on the night shift. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including ventilation support, arterial blood gas sampling, and pulmonary testing, while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in respiratory therapy
• Perform advanced procedures such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep studies
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team, ensuring accurate documentation and handoffs
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures
• Demonstrate clinical expertise, troubleshoot issues, and seek continuous learning opportunities

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• Licenses and certifications: RRT, Respiratory Care Practitioner, Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
