Summary Of The Respiratory Therapist Role We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of respiratory therapies. The role requires independent clinical expertise and serves as a resource for the healthcare team, ensuring safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care that complies with all quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Include Effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare teamEducation and training of patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and proceduresPerforming diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established standardsApplying advanced clinical skills in areas such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep studiesMaintaining ongoing professional development and quality improvement Qualifications include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program, Respiratory Care Practitioner license, and RRT certification. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to educate others and work effectively within a team.
