About the role
We are seeking an experienced RN to supervise nursing staff and ensure quality patient care in a healthcare and rehabilitation facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing services during shifts, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the Nursing Services Department.
- Oversee patient care during acute episodes and support nursing staff in their duties.
- Address employee issues promptly, document actions, and assume on-call responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Licensed RN with current license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Experience in geriatric nursing and long-term care preferred.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively, follow policies, and adhere to regulatory standards.
- CPR certification annually, with commitment to ongoing training and compliance.
