Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)

About the role

We're seeking an RN Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The RN Supervisor will assess resident needs, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise both LPNs and CNAs. This position is part time every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assists Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing – recommendations regarding needs of the Nursing department, interviews, hires, and orients professional staff.
• Provides clinical leadership, working with the DON and Unit Manager to effectively plan, organize, direct, and implement a comprehensive nursing program.
• Offers nursing leadership to meet the goals of the organization and the individual center.
• Ensures timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNAs, and professional medical staff in collaboration with the DON.
• Initiates and actively participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings, ensuring the plan addresses all triggered indicators.
• Collaborates with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to obtain information on residents' status and progress toward care plan goals.
• Demonstrates effective communication with a variety of disciplines.
• Prepares accurate reports of Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS, performing tracks and trends of this data to enhance team knowledge and improve care quality through performance improvement initiatives.
• Actively involved in Quality Improvement.
• Implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and others.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of Georgia.
• 2-3 years of RN experience.
