Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)

About the Role

This position involves supervising nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care in a healthcare and rehabilitation facility. You will assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and overseeing the Nursing Services Department while managing daily operations in compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care during shifts.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and overseeing the Nursing Services Department.
• Manage nursing services in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support nurses during acute patient episodes and address employee issues promptly.
• Perform on-call duties and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Licensed registered nurse from an accredited nursing program with a valid North Carolina license.
• Experience in geriatric nursing and long-term care preferred.
• Current CPR certification (updated annually).
• Ability to supervise staff effectively, ensuring timely completion of work assignments.
• Knowledge of facility policies, procedures, and compliance with regulations.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as needed.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in patient care and team leadership.
• Pass a background check and adhere to drug-free workplace policies.
