About the Role
The RN Supervisor oversees the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective nursing care, ensuring compliance with policies and standards. They assist in analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental processes while fostering continuous improvement in operational, financial, and clinical aspects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily nursing activities across assigned areas, ensuring safe and efficient patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical and ancillary departments to meet quality, safety, and service excellence goals.
- Monitor patient outcomes and the effectiveness of nursing services.
- Oversee staff performance, providing feedback and identifying training and development needs.
- Support resource management to meet service standards and organizational objectives.
- Manage 24-hour operations and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure staff development in a full-time capacity.
Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical patient care experience.
- Previous supervisory or healthcare management experience preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Schedule
Typically working five 8-hour days per week.
