Schedule

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Lead outbreak response by tracking and investigating infection clusters to stop the spread of germs quickly.
• Train hospital staff on safe hygiene and clean care methods.
• Create safety rules by writing clear health policies based on current medical science and laws.
• Review patient data daily to identify and address hidden infection risks.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse credential from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control required within 3 years of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.

Qualifications

• Certified in Infection Control (CIC) credential and 3+ years of Infection Prevention experience with a surgical background is strongly preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of hospital staff, including Executive Leadership, Physicians, and front-line teams.
• Demonstrable accountability, critical thinking, follow-through, and relationship-building skills.
