Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery - Night Shift

Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care in a Level 2E Special Care Nursery, assessing and monitoring neonatal patients, recognizing changes, planning, and evaluating care plans. Delegates appropriate tasks to team members and collaborates to achieve unit goals. Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.Utilize critical thinking to assess patients, recognize changes, and document observations.Function as part of a team, supporting unit objectives and patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree.Current Illinois RN licensure and BLS certification.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire.Preferably 2 years of NICU RN Level 3 experience.
