Registered Nurse - SICU - Multiple Shifts

About the Role

Join a 14-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) caring for critically ill patients, including post-surgical, neurosurgical, and neurological cases. Provide direct patient care, implement and monitor care plans, and communicate patient conditions effectively. Coordinate multidisciplinary care and assist with discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Follow established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Serve as a primary coordinator for patient care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assess patient needs and collaborate with the healthcare team for discharge planning.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 180 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with relevant licensure.

Schedule

Full-time night shifts (7:00 pm to 7:00 am).
