RN - Registered Nurse - SICU - Multiple Shifts

Position Overview

Provides direct nursing care in a 14-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) for critically ill patients, including post-surgical, neurosurgical, and neurological cases.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient-centered care following organizational policies and protocols.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient conditions.
• Maintains effective communication among healthcare team members.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary efforts to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with licensure from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire, from AHA or ARC.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
