Position Overview
Sucessfully seeking a registered nurse for a full-time night shift role in a 14-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The unit cares for critically ill patients, including post-surgical, neurosurgical, and neurological cases, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes skill development and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.
- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans.
- Cookordinate multidisciplinary efforts for comprehensive patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders.
- Assist with discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Qualifications And Skills
- Valid nursing license from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLs certification within 180 days of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
