Registered Nurse - SICU - Multiple Shifts

Role Overview: This position is for a registered nurse in a 14-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), providing critical care for post-surgical, neurosurgical, neurological, and general critical patients in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care following established policies and protocols.Implement, monitor, and document patient care plans and conditions.Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts for comprehensive patient care.Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.Assist in discharge planning in collaboration with healthcare team members. Qualifications Valid RN license from the Alabama Board of Nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required within 180 days of hire.Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
