Registered Nurse - Same Day Surgery

About the Role

This role provides direct clinical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis. It involves supervising staff, delegating appropriate tasks, and supporting high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The position ensures staff competency and manages resources related to patient care, reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver patient care
• Supervise and delegate tasks to staff
• Ensure clinical staff meet competency standards
• Support resource management and uphold care quality and safety standards
• Serve as a professional role model and advocate for nursing

Requirements

• Graduation from a state-approved or accredited nursing school (bachelor's or master's degree preferred)
• Current license, certification, or registration to practice, including CPR
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
