About the role

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse who coordinates the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensures consistent, quality care for all residents. You will assess needs and implement care as necessary, utilizing the latest technology and collaborating with a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, including direction, assignments, training, recognition, and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a resource for clinical issues.
• Ensure completion of reports such as infection control, pharmacy compliance, and quality management.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving through encouragement and support.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare care plans, implement nursing care, and solve problems.

Pay

Starting wages: $88,000 - $90,000 per year, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. On-call responsibilities included as part of a rotation.
