Registered Nurse Unit Manager RN

Join our team at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre as a Unit Manager, a Registered Nurse role responsible for coordinating clinical care within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent, quality care for all residents.

About the role

You will assess resident needs and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team. This is a full-time, on-site management position.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors, fostering a positive and healthy healing environment.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of reports such as infection control, pharmacy compliance, and quality management.
• Supervise the nursing team, including assigning tasks, providing training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and implement effective nursing and rehabilitation care.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
• Team-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting colleagues and achieving goals.

Pay

Starting wage of $88,400 per year with yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday schedule.
• Rotating weekend schedule with other nurse managers.
• Rotating on-call schedule with other nurse managers.
