About the role

The RN Unit Manager is the Clinical Care Coordinator responsible for the oversight of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation, ensuring consistent and quality clinical care for all residents. You will assess needs and implement care as necessary, utilizing the latest technology and collaborating with a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, including direction, assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a resource for clinical issues.
• Ensure completion of requested reports (e.g., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors, fostering a positive healing environment.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
• High level of analytical ability to prepare care plans, implement nursing care, and solve complex well-being problems.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.

Pay

Starting salary: $85,000 - $87,000 per year, with yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• Full-time: 40 hours per week.
• 8-hour shifts with flexible scheduling covering Afternoons (2nd Shift) and Midnights (3rd Shift).
• Typical shift: 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM.
