Registered Nurse RN Transport

About the role

Banner Desert Medical Center offers state-of-the-art technology and is part of Clinical Care Operations, which manages patient management across the campus.

Responsibilities

• Transport cardiac monitored patients throughout the campus
• Take patients to different procedures and appointments, such as Medical Imaging
• Take patients from the Emergency Dept to their rooms in the facility
• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients
• Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe
• Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team
• Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other health care team members

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice
• BLS certification is required
• At least 2 years of PCU experience or ICU experience
• 3x12-hour Day Shifts with start times from 7:00am-9:00am; every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

• Specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills
• Ability to prioritize data from multiple sources
