About the role
Provides direct, high-quality nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as an RN, ensuring patient safety, recovery, and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and coordinates patient care per medical and nursing standards.
- Supervises staff, delegates tasks, and supports the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining care quality, safety, and resource management.
- Adheres to safety protocols, risk management, infection control, and emergency procedures, including HICS responsibilities during crises.
- Performs all related tasks, ensures compliance with hospital policies, and contributes to continuous quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
- Licensed or registered as required.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred candidates hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
