About the role
The Assistant Nurse Manager, OR oversees the operations of the Operating Room department, managing staff, patient care, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervises 30-35 staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Ensures delivery of high-quality patient care across 13 OR suites specializing in gynecology, urology, colorectal, MIS, bariatrics, and robotic surgeries.
- Develops and implements staffing plans, manages departmental budgets, and monitors productivity.
- Coordinates staff communication, manages disciplinary actions, and supports professional development.
- Maintains compliance with policies and safety standards, contributing to departmental operational goals.
- Manage staff, coordinate patient care, oversee equipment, and ensure departmental efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience, with preferred 5-10 years.
- RN license required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is valued.
