Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room - $36-46/hr

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an Operating Room Lead, providing expert nursing care within a fast-paced surgical environment. Responsibilities include: assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, implementing medical and nursing orders, supervising healthcare staff, and ensuring patient safety and quality of care. Act as a shift leader when needed, coordinate interdisciplinary care, participate in hourly rounding, and evaluate nursing practice effectiveness. Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and utilize independent judgment in directing team members. Provide age-specific bedside care based on the nursing process, guiding patients and families toward achieving health goals. Qualifications include: current RN license in the state, nursing degree from an accredited school, and certifications such as CPR, ACLS, and specialized area credentials. Preferred: BSN degree, minimum of two years of acute care experience, and relevant specialty certifications. Key skills: excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to work under pressure, basic computer proficiency, and effective team collaboration. Additional requirements may include specialized training or certifications depending on the unit, such as NRP for L&D or Wound Care certification. The role involves direct patient care, supervision, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
