Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Education & Student Programs, Full-Time, Days

About the role

This position involves partnering with nurse leaders to coach, mentor, and support nursing initiatives and student programs within a healthcare organization. The role includes developing and implementing programs such as “ready to work” for nursing students, enhancing clinical leadership competencies, and promoting evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing nursing student programs to increase hiring and clinical experience opportunities.
• Provide coaching and training to nursing leadership for program sustainability and optimal outcomes.
• Lead the implementation of new care modalities and identify best practices for dissemination.
• Collaborate with Nurse Executives on strategic initiatives and mentor leaders in adopting evidence-based practices.
• Evaluate program effectiveness, review workloads, and ensure alignment with academic health center objectives.
• Report on program progress and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and current RN license.
• Five years of nursing leadership experience with broad clinical knowledge.
• Proficiency in Evidence Based Leadership practices, LEAN, and CAP methodologies.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills.

Additional Details

This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or director. Work is typically during the day at a designated healthcare facility.
