Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Education & Student Programs, Full-Time, Days

About the Role

Acts as a consultant to nurse leaders, supporting student programs and nursing initiatives by coaching, mentoring, and developing action plans for program implementation across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers programs to prepare nursing students for clinical practice and increase hiring.
• Provides coaching and training to nursing leadership to ensure program success and sustainability.
• Leads implementation of new care practices and identifies best nursing practices for broader adoption.
• Collaborates with Nurse Executives on strategic initiatives and mentors leaders in evidence-based practices.
• Evaluates program effectiveness, reviews operational procedures, and reports on outcomes.
• Supports the validation of leadership competencies in clinical settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Five years of nursing leadership experience with broad clinical knowledge.
• Current RN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or applicable state licensing.
• Knowledge of Evidence-Based Leadership (EBL), LEAN, and CAP methodologies.
• Effective data conversion skills.

Additional Details

Non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with a focus on program development, leadership coaching, and clinical practice enhancement. Located at a healthcare facility with a focus on workforce development.
