Registered Nurse (RN) Neurology - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital

Part-time night shift position on the Neurology unit of a 115-bed acute care hospital specializing in physical rehabilitation.

About the role

Assist individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function. The Neurology unit treats patients with strokes, spinal cord injuries, concussions, and more.

• Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
• Design and implement treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial and spiritual health.
• Trained to perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions, including IVs, Blood Transfusions, Wound Vacs, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Prosthetic Training.

Requirements

• New York State RN License
• Associates Degree in Nursing (BSN Preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field

Pay

$40.00 - $53.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 2 days per week with weekend commitment
