Registered Nurse (RN) Day Shift Neurology - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital
Full-time, 12-hour day shift position (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), 3 days per week including weekend commitment. Self-scheduling model. New RN graduates will be considered.
About the Role
Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is a 115-bed acute care hospital specializing in physical rehabilitation and an affiliate of St. Peter's Health Partners. This role is on the Neurology unit, treating patients with strokes, spinal cord injuries, concussions, and more. You will assist individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Design and implement treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care, promoting physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.
- Perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions (training provided).
- Specific training on IVs, blood transfusions, wound vacs, peritoneal dialysis, and prosthetic training.
Requirements
- New York State RN License.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain high customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
Pay Range: $40.00 – $53.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary by location.
