Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurology - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital

About the role

Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) on the Neurology unit at Sunnyview Rehab Hospital. Night shift position with a self-scheduling model. Hours are 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 3 days per week with weekend commitment.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function.
• Adapt care to support patients and families in a therapeutic environment.
• Design and implement treatment strategies grounded in self-care nursing theory to promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.
• Perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions.
• Receive training to perform IVs, blood transfusions, wound vacs, peritoneal dialysis, and prosthetic training.

Requirements

• New York State RN License.
• Associates Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to high-level customer service in a fast-paced setting.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$40.00 – $53.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the FLSA will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
