Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric - Full-Time Night Shift

Role: RN Resident responsible for completing a 12-month Nurse Residency Program to facilitate transition into professional nursing practice. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized, high-quality patient care aligned with Wellstar standards, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices.Collaborate effectively within interprofessional teams, ensuring safe and respectful communication and documentation.Partner with patients and families, considering cultural diversity and promoting patient-centered care.Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance to enhance care quality and safety.Serve as a preceptor or mentor, modeling professional nursing practice and fostering a healthy work environment.Support resource management, protocol development, and continuous professional development. Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.Current nursing license in good standing.Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and cultural competence skills.Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and ongoing professional growth.
